In December 2020, gamer Willyrex received an email from YouTube informing him that his channel, which then had more than 15 million subscribers, had been disabled for being used "in a manner that constitutes a serious violation of Google's policies."
The news took him by surprise, as his account did not have any strike in force. A few days earlier, Willyrex had broadcast a game of Cyberpunk, a video game that contains drugs, sex and vulgar language. However, he had not received any notification about it and did not consider that this transmission could lead to the total closure of the channel.
According to the post, the disabled accounts were eventually deleted. He appealed the decision and took to Twitter to inform his users what was happening. A few hours later, via Twitter, the TeamYoutube account replied that the suspension had been a mistake.
